Представители рода Enterococcus – это условно патогенные микроорганизмы, распространенные повсеместно и входящие в состав большинства биоценозов. Энтерококки являются представителями нормальной микрофлоры многих видов животных и человека, а также встречаются на растениях, в пищевых продуктах, почве и воде, что позволяет их рассматривать в качестве потенциальных санитарно-показательных микроорганизмов. Самыми распространёнными видами рода Enterococcus является E. faecalis и E. faecium, среди которых чаще всего встречается E. faecalis. Однако в зависимости от местности возможны разные соотношения этих микроорганизмов, а также наличие других видов рода Enterococcus. E. faecalis считается более патогенным по сравнению E. faecium, но последний имеет большую устойчивость к антибиотикам. Цель нашего исследования была определена следующим образом: изучение особенностей распространения и видового состава штаммов рода Enterococcus в водных объектах различных районов г. Владивостока с антропогенной и низкой антропогенной нагрузкой.
