Un aspect particulier de cette évolution est l''émergence des actualisateurs le, un, de, du et le statut particulier que possède l''actualisateur zéro. L''analyse présentée ici est empirique: elle vérifie les données recueillies dans la littérature sur le syntagme nominal en latin, en ancien français et en français moderne à l''aide d''un corpus privilégié, composé d''un texte-source latin et de ses traductions respectivement en ancien français et en français moderne. Cette méthode présente des avantages inestimables: l''étude de ces textes de traduction permet de comparer minutieusement les différentes versions, qui constituent des témoignages de locuteurs natifs à propos de la réalisation d''un même message.
