About the Author Marga Peeters organized the MRM workshop and wrote this chapter while she was a Research Fellow at the Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study (NIAS) of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). She gained research and policy experience as Senior Economist at the European Commission, Resident Monetary Policy advisor of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at the Banka e Shqipërisë in Albania, Assistant Manager in the Scientific and Econometric Research Department of De Nederlandsche Bank, Post-Doc Research Fellow at the Banco de España, University of Warwick, Université Catholique de Louvain and the Centre de la Recherche en Economie et Statistique. Nidal Rachid Sabri is Professor at Birzeit University, Palestine. He served 21 years as the Dean of college of Commerce & Economics and Director of MBA program at the same University and received his doctoral degree from the University of Northern Colorado, USA.
