El objetivo de este libro es realizar una aportacion al estudio de las ideologias sobre la lengua en los medios de comunicacion escritos en el ambito hispanico. Esta formado por dieciocho trabajos agrupados en tres bloques tematicos dedicados, respectivamente, al analisis de las ideologias desde una perspectiva historica, a temas relacionados con el componente ideologico de la diversidad linguistica, y al analisis de los recursos discursivos empleados para la expresion verbal de las ideologias sobre la lengua. En ellos, desde distintas metodologias, -mas historica, mas discursiva, mas orientada a la norma-, se ha intentado dar respuesta a cuestiones como quien gestiona la autoridad linguistica, como los hablantes percibimos la lengua, y como se distribuye todo ello a traves de la prensa. About the Author Carmen Marimon Llorca es Profesora Titular de Lengua Espanola en la Universidad de Alicante. Trabaja sobre retorica, analisis discursivo y pragmatico y lexicografia del espanol. Pertenece al grupo de investigacion internacional CIRCULA que trabaja sobre Ideologias linguisticas en la prensa. Es Investigadora Principal del Proyecto de Investigacion financiado "El discurso metalinguistico en la prensa espanola (1940-hoy)". Isabel Santamaria Perez es Profesora Titular de Lengua Espanola en la Universidad de Alicante. Su investigacion se centra en la lexicologia, la terminologia y la lexicografia monolingue y bilingue, tanto en su vertiente diacronica como sincronica. Es directora y coautora del Diccionario del turron (espanol, catalan, ingles, ruso, arabe y chino) (2015) y autora de Diccionario de neologismo del espanol actual.
