Die Thematik Deutsch als Zweitsprache (DaZ) ist zum alltäglichen Gegenstand in allen Schulformen und -stufen geworden. Die hohe Anzahl mehrsprachig aufwachsender Kinder und Jugendlichen im deutschsprachigen Raum und die sprachlichen Besonderheiten, die diese heterogene Gruppe mit sich bringt, stellen sowohl Schulen als auch Universitäten vor Herausforderungen, die lange unbeachtet blieben. Trotz einiger Studien bleiben Fragen zu spezifischen Erwerbsverläufen grammatischer Strukturen und zu Besonderheiten und Unterschieden des Zweitspracherwerbs im Deutschen im Vergleich zum Erstspracherwerb ungeklärt. Vor diesem Hintergrund diskutiert der Band unterschiedliche Perspektiven auf den Phänomenbereich Deutsche Grammatik in Kontakt in Schule und Unterricht in Bezug auf ihre potentielle Relevanz für einen Grammatikunterricht in multilingualen Zusammenhängen.
