Prof. Shyha has over 20 years of experience working in higher education. He received his Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice from Northumbria University, PhD from The University of Birmingham, MSc, and BSc from Alexandria University. He also worked at Northumbria University, The Birmingham University and Alexandria University. He has extensive experience in the conventional and non-conventional machining of composite materials. His work is supported by the UK Research Council, Innovate UK and industry.
