His research interests include mechanics of composite materials, molecular dynamics, finite element modeling, strength of materials, fracture mechanics, mechanical vibrations, engineering drawing, theory of machines and dynamics of machines. He has been extensively working in the field of composite materials and has published more than 30 research papers in journals of national and international repute. He is the member of ASTM International, formerly known as American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) and life member of Indian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ISME).
