About the Author Vanessa Karen Kirch is an international lawyer admitted to the Bar Association in Cologne, Germany. She holds a J.D. obtained in Germany as well as an LL.M. and a J.S.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. Her legal education focused on international and comparative law, undertaken among others at the Universities of Bonn and Cologne as well as Complutense University of Madrid, the Robert Bosch France S.A.S. in Paris, and the German Foreign Office in Berlin as well as the German Embassy in Quito, Ecuador.
