There remains a need to improve factors influencing the development of its human resources through education at all levels, workplace training, corporate social responsibility, gender equality, support for entrepreneurship, and other practices and policies related to HR. About the Author Hien Thi Tran (Ph.D.) is a lecturer and a researcher in corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, management, international business, and human resources. She has been a consultant for sustainability projects and the principal investigator for applied research projects funded by international and local entities. Tam To Phuong (Ph.D.) is a faculty member at Foreign Trade University, Hanoi, Vietnam. Her research focuses on faculty development, adult learning, and organization development. She developed a professional identity development framework for Vietnamese faculty in her dissertation at Texas A&M University, USA. Huyen Thi Minh Van (Ph.D.) works at Foreign Trade University, Vietnam and Texas A&M University, USA. She studies learning, performance, engagement, and citizenship in organizational contexts. Her dissertation investigated HRD strategies and practices for creating an engaged workforce from organizational and individual perspectives. Gary N. McLean (Ed.D., Ph.D. Hon.) is Professor in the Ph.D. in Organization Development program, Assumption University, Bangkok, and Professor Emeritus of Human Resource Development and Adult Education at the University of Minnesota. He was formerly president of McLean Global Consulting, a family business. Mark A. Ashwill (Ph.D.) is managing director and co-founder of Capstone Vietnam, a full-service educational consulting company with offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  He served as country director of the Institute of International Education-Vietnam from 2005-09.
