This is Book Two in a series about the lives of Mark and Sue Neumann. This section includes the journey from complete political naivety to being elected to Congress on the third try and his four years in office (1995 - 1999). Mark was regularly mentioned as one of the main architects of the plans to balance the budget federal budget, which was accomplished for the first time since 1969 while Mark was in office. Follow the story as Mark and Sue relate the strong influence of the good Lord as they lived through the many trials and tribulations involved with running for office and serving in office. Mark stands on his principles in many battles with the “swamp” in Washington, D.C. to a point where he was even kicked off a committee. Faith, family, and love of country led to a life of the Neumanns exemplifying the American Dream.
