About the Author Cihat Atar received his BA in English Language Teaching from Bogazici University, Turkey in 2009. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Educational and Applied Linguistics from Newcastle University, UK. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language Teaching at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Turkey, and has worked on projects such as the Newcastle University Corpus of Academic Spoken English (NUCASE). He has published on English as a second language, Conversation Analysis for second language acquisition and second language teacher training, and the internationalization of higher education. Hakkı Bağcı received his BA in Computer and Education Technology from Anadolu University and holds an MA from Anadolu University, Turkey. He holds a PhD from the University of Gazi, Turkey, and is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Technology Department at Sakarya University, Turkey. He has published several book chapters, articles and papers on educational technology, social media, mobile learning, and smart phone addiction. His academic interests include teacher training, blended learning, e-learning, educational technology, and the use of informational technology.
