Leaders build or destroy organizations while leaving behind an indelible mark – a legacy from which organizations take a very long time to succeed or recover from its impact. Sometimes organizations never do! Through their personal values! And the ethics that their organizations display today and in times to come. Organizations are indeed products of a leader’s imagination. It takes the shape of that dream. And in that dream, good or bad, lies its destiny. This book is an outcome of an attempt to understand organizations as they link and align with culture and leadership in a digital business model. This books attempts to weave together a case for alignment between organization, culture and leadership by linking dots in understanding the business of digital organizations while establishing a case for the digital intellect. The book assumes that leaders display behaviors through an understanding and comprehension of their business realities, challenges and opportunities, manifested as everyday decisions. The book is built on the premise that organizations have their leadership disrupted owing to digital influences in technology, knowledge, millennial mindset, people attitudes, skills, behaviors, rapid changes in customer needs, speed and agility, flexible structures, dynamic - creative designs, unique people actions (expectations and deliverance), talent issues, business climate, HR programs, work values and business ethics (all displayed as culture). The book concludes by defining an organization model – operating core, new forms of leadership – Teacher – Learner - Scientist, the emergence of a digital culture (Evolving), the presence of an Intellectual Company, including digital building blocks and the intellectual people factor - A Digital Mind Set.
