Dr. Richardson’s scholarship has additionally focused on the coming of age of young female leaders and womanhood. She is the founder and president of Girls of Grace Youth Center, and a past recipient of both the ComEd Power of One Neighborhood Hero Award and National Louis University’s outstanding teaching award.
