This Guidebook is an accompaniment to the MeComplete! Early Learning Rhythms and RhymesTM: FALL curricula set. It provides a guide for how to use rhythms, rhymes, finger plays, and songs to build vocabulary, motor, cognitive, and many more skills. The topic of “fall” provides interesting and relevant subjects that delight young children’s curiosity. This guide provides ways for each learning card in the set to be used for young infants, mobile infants, and toddlers. In addition, it links the learning posters to learning goals (using the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework) for each age group as well as how they support the program in meeting ITERS (Infant Toddler Environmental Rating Scales) criteria. In addition, activity suggestions to extend and expand learning such as art, sensory, and exploration are provided. The accompanying learning cards can be purchased at www.earlylearning.today.The FALL set of the Me Complete! Early Learning Rhythm and Rhymes™ provides topics of interest to young children because they are immediately in the environment. Children see leaves changing and falling and are curious about them. Or they enjoy watching a spider spin a web. This set is meant to build on the wonders of the natural world that children are naturally drawn too. This guidebook provides activity guides for each poster/card in the set. Suggestions for how to use each poster/card is provided as well as extension activities for young infants, mobile infants, and toddlers. Learning objectives including social emotional, language, mathematics, science, and physical development are all linked to each card/poster.
