He received his MSc degree (2000) from Visva-Bharati University, MTech degree (2002) from IIT-Kharagpur and PhD (2008) from IICB-Kolkata. He moved to France for his postdoctoral training and joined I2BC, France. Dr. Das is recipient of two international fellowships (i) CNRS, Govt. of France (ii) JSPS, Govt. of Japan and three national fellowships (i) IIT (ii) ICMR (iii) CSIR, Govt. of India. He has published 71 research articles 12 book chapters and received more than 2150 citations. Currently, he is Adjunct Visiting Faculty at MAHE-Manipal; Visiting Faculty at NIPER-Guwahati; Adjunct Faculty at RCB-Faridabad; Guest Lecturer at AIIMS-New Delhi. Dr. Das is Editorial Board Member in (i) Microbial Ecology (Springer group) (ii) Gut Microbiome (Cambridge University Press) and (iii) Current Indian Science (Bentham Science). Dr. Vijai Singh is an Associate Professor and Dean (Research & Innovation) at School of Sciences, Indrashil University, Rajpur, Mehsana, Gujarat, India. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology at the Institute of Advanced Research, Gandhinagar, India and also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at the Invertis University, Bareilly, India. Prior to that, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Synthetic Biology Group at the Institute of Systems and Synthetic Biology, Paris, France and School of Energy & Chemical Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Ulsan, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology (2009) from the National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India with a research focus on the development of molecular and immunoassays for diagnosis of Aeromonas hydrophila.
