CERTO is the Emeritus Dean and Steinmetz Professor of Management at the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. He has been a professor of management for more than 20 years and has received prestigious awards, including the Award for Innovative Teaching from the Southern Business Association, the Instructional Innovation Award granted by the Decision Sciences Institute, and the Charles A. Welsh Memorial Award for outstanding teaching at the Crummer School. His numerous publications include articles in prominent journals, and he is the author of several successful academic and professional titles. Several of his books have been translated into many different languages. A past chairman of the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy of Management, he has been honored by that groups Excellence of Leadership Award. Dr. Certo also has served as president of the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning, as associate editor for Simulation & Games, and as a review board member of the Academy of Management ReviewDr. Certos recent study has focused on leadership and wisdom. As a result, he published a new book titled Chasing Wisdom, and hosts Chasing Wisdom Podcasts.
