Description

Experience the experimental rock era of The Shadow Ring with Hold On Onto I.D. on vinyl. Recorded between late 1996 and early 1997, this fourth album represents the peak of the trio's musical journey before their transition to Swill Radio. This release moves away from the surrealist themes of their previous work, such as City Lights and Put the Music in Its Coffin, to explore pseudo-expressionistic lyrics. The songs capture the banality and bleakness of everyday life, all set against the visual backdrop of the Coombe House featured on the cover. This vinyl edition is a must-have for fans of alternative rock and indie music looking for a deep dive into this specific era of the band's history.
