Description

Celebrate the 45th anniversary of a Manchester classic with this special edition 2LP release from London Records. As one of the first artists signed to Factory Records alongside Joy Division, The Durutti Column helped shape a legendary musical era. This edition features the band's 1980 debut, originally produced by Martin Hannett, which introduced the world to Vini Reilly's signature reverb-laden guitar work and early synthesizer experimentation. This high-quality vinyl pressing has been newly remastered from the original tapes to provide a superior listening experience. To ensure maximum audio fidelity, the records are cut at half-speed for vinyl. This release honors a five-decade career and the lasting influence of one of Manchester's most respected acts.
