Description

Experience the raw and intimate sound of Jeffrey Martin's latest work, Thank God We Left The Garden. Released by The Orchard, this album captures a unique moment of musical honesty. Recorded in a small eight-by-ten foot backyard shack in southeast Portland, Oregon, the music carries the spirit of its surroundings. What started as simple demos evolved into a complete, spare, and true collection of songs. Because the tracks were recorded live and alone using only two microphones, listeners get a direct connection to the artist. The recording process was deeply personal, with Martin timing his sessions to avoid the sounds of passing city traffic during the coldest winter nights. This album offers a rare, unpolished listening experience that feels both private and powerful. If you appreciate classic rock styles and authentic, lo-fi recording aesthetics, this release provides a window into a dedicated artist's creative process.
