Description

Experience a landmark fusion of silent cinema and contemporary electronic music with this limited CD box from Bureau B, restricted to just 2000 copies worldwide. Karl Bartos, the visionary musician and writer behind Kraftwerk's iconic 'Metropolis', has crafted an entirely new orchestral score for the classic 1927 Fritz Lang film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, reimagined through a 21st-century electronic lens. This exclusive collector's edition includes the complete album on CD, the restored film on DVD, and a comprehensive 48-page booklet exploring the creative vision behind this unique project. Bartos' deep admiration for Weimar-era culture and his pioneering work in electronic music combine to create a fresh interpretation of Giuseppe Becce's historically significant original composition, delivering a rare opportunity to own a piece of experimental music history that bridges early cinema and modern production.
