This upgraded version builds on the success of the original model by offering improved optical performance and faster autofocus speeds. It is built to handle moving subjects with ease, making it a reliable choice for photographers needing high definition even when shooting handheld. This lens features advanced coatings, including eBAND and BBAR, which help improve light transmission and reduce internal reflections. For stability, the Vibration Compensation (VC) system provides up to 4.5 stops of compensation in VC Mode 3, helping you capture sharp images in various shooting environments. The new Flex Zoom Lock mechanism allows you to secure the zoom ring at any position, providing better control during use. With compatibility for optional 1.4x and 2x teleconverters, this G2 lens offers expanded versatility for your telephoto photography needs.
