Description
Achieve the legendary sound used by bass icon Steve Harris with Rotosound SH77 Monel Flatwound strings. These 4-string sets are engineered for players seeking a deep, massive, and classic bass tone. Developed in 1966, these strings utilize a premium Monel alloy that provides distinct tonal and haptic advantages compared to standard flatwire strings. Constructed from a specialized blend of approximately 2/3 nickel, 1/3 copper, and 2% iron, these strings offer high tensile strength and excellent resistance to corrosion, salt, and acids. This makes them a reliable choice for consistent performance. The flatwound design delivers a warm and rich character that is ideal for various musical styles. These long scale strings (34 inch / 860mm) are also suitable for medium scale basses up to 32 inch (810mm). Whether you are looking for that vintage warmth or a heavy, punchy low end, the Rotosound SH77 series provides the professional quality required for electric bass performance.
