Description

Rotosound RS200 Monel Flatwound strings deliver the deep, warm, rich tone that made them an industry standard since 1966. Crafted from premium Monel alloy - a composition of approximately 2/3 nickel, 1/3 copper and 2% iron - these medium gauge strings (12 16 24 32 42 52) combine exceptional tonal clarity with a soft, comfortable feel under your fingers. The flatwound construction reduces finger noise and unwanted buzz whilst producing a powerful, assertive tone ideal for jazz, funk and classic rock playing styles. Monel's high tensile strength ensures durability and corrosion resistance, protecting your investment even in demanding conditions. Made in the UK, these strings offer the tactile and sonic advantages that distinguish Rotosound from other flatwound manufacturers, giving you authentic vintage character with modern reliability.
