Description

Experience the iconic 1977 Pink Floyd album in a fresh way with the Animals (2018 Remix) on vinyl. This version features a remix by James Guthrie, bringing new life to a classic concept album. Originally a departure from the band's earlier style, Animals explores the social and political conditions of mid-1970s Britain. The album uses a unique concept to describe the social and moral decay of society by likening the human condition to that of animals. Drawing inspiration from George Orwell's 'Animal Farm', the tracks depict different classes of people as animals, ranging from pigs at the top of the social chain down to the sheep. This vinyl release from Legacy Recordings is a must-have for collectors of Brit-Rock and classic progressive rock.
