Description
Experience a fresh perspective on a classic rock masterpiece with the Animals (2018 Remix). This version of the iconic 1977 album has been expertly remixed by James Guthrie, bringing new life to a landmark recording. As a concept album, it explores the social and political landscape of mid-1970s Britain, marking a significant shift in musical direction from earlier works. The album presents a powerful narrative regarding the social and moral decay of society. Drawing inspiration from George Orwell's Animal Farm, the tracks liken the human condition to various animals. This thematic structure depicts different social classes, placing pigs at the top of the social chain and descending down to the sheep. This Analogue Productions release allows listeners to reconnect with these profound themes through a modern sonic lens, making it a must-have for fans of progressive rock and high-quality audio remasters.
