Description

Experience the debut album from Chicago trio Lifeguard with Ripped and Torn on vinyl. Released by Matador Records, this record brings together the long-standing musical chemistry of Asher Case, Isaac Lowenstein, and Kai Slater. The band has played together since high school, creating a sound that is both noisy and immediate. This collection blends influences from punk, dub, power-pop, and experimental music into an explosive cacophony. Recorded in Chicago with producer Randy Randall (No Age), the album captures a unique, claustrophobic energy. This vinyl release is a must-have for fans of indie and alternative rock looking for heartfelt yet cryptic compositions.
