Description
This exceptional Palo Cortado from Lustau represents the pinnacle of Spanish sherry craftsmanship, aged for over 30 years in a solera system established in the 1920s. The Consejo Regulador has certified it with the exclusive VORS designation, reserved only for sherries meeting the most stringent age and quality standards. The wine displays brilliant topaz-copper hues with bronze undertones, presenting aromas of nougat, apricots, and pecans that captivate the senses. On the palate, it delivers intense warmth and concentration, with flavours reminiscent of marron glace, dark chocolate, and aged brandy, culminating in a long, lingering finish. This award-winning expression won Gold at the 2015 Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge, making it an outstanding choice for serious collectors and those seeking a sophisticated fortified wine experience.
