Description

Experience the evolution of Dundalk's Just Mustard with their vinyl release, WE WERE JUST HERE. Moving from the submerged sounds of Heart Under, this record explores a new territory of light and euphoria. While the band retains their signature warped guitars, cavernous low ends, and twisted sound design, the noise is channeled into a warmer and more melodic direction. Inspired by the energy of club spaces and physical joy, these songs strive for immediacy and feeling. Katie Ball's vocals sit higher in the mix, capturing a conflicted pursuit of happiness. This vinyl release from Universal Music Group and Partisan offers a unique way to listen to an alternative rock sound that balances heavy elements with melodic warmth.
