Description

Experience the evolution of Dundalk's Just Mustard with their latest release, WE WERE JUST HERE. Moving from the submerged atmosphere of Heart Under, this album introduces a sound that leans toward light and euphoria. While the band retains their signature warped guitars, cavernous low ends, and twisted sound design, the noise is channeled into a warmer, more melodic direction. Inspired by the physical joy of club spaces, the songs strive for immediacy and deep feeling. Katie Ball's vocals are higher in the mix, capturing a conflicted pursuit of happiness. This release from Universal Music Group offers a unique listening experience that balances intense sound design with melodic warmth.
