Description
Upgrade your drilling precision with the Dormer Pramet Taper Shank Drill. Built from High Speed Steel (HSS), this drill bit provides excellent hot hardness for demanding tasks. The steam oxide surface treatment increases wear resistance and lubricity while reducing built-up-edge and chip buildup. Designed with a 118 degree conventional point, it allows for easy re-grinding and reliable performance. The low thrust design and self-centering split point ensure easier penetration and better accuracy. For diameters above 14mm, the point is thinned to provide superior centering and reduced thrust forces. This DIN 345 standard drill bit features common taper shanks to help reduce workholding requirements during your projects.
