Description

Upgrade your astronomical observation experience with the Celestron 94155-A Focus Motor. Designed specifically for Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT), EdgeHD, and RASA optical tubes, this motor replaces manual knob adjustments with precise electronic control. By enabling remote focusing via a computer or your telescope hand controller, you can achieve sharp, accurate focus on celestial objects without physically touching the telescope. This accessory is a significant benefit for visual observers seeking extreme precision, particularly those who may have difficulty with manual dexterity. For astrophotographers, it is a vital tool that allows for hands-free operation. Because you can control the focus from a distance, you no longer need to stand next to the telescope to fine-tune your images, preventing physical vibrations from disturbing your long-exposure shots. Installation is streamlined with smart power options. The motor can draw power directly from a Celestron computerized mount or via a USB connection when linked to a computer. With features like backlash compensation and automatic GoTo indexed positions, this motor provides the reliability and control needed for high-quality stargazing and imaging sessions.

Key Features

Electronic Focusing: Bring celestial objects into sharp, precise focus using a computer or hand controller for hands-free observing.

Versatile Compatibility: Engineered to work with a wide variety of Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD, and Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph optical tubes.

Smart Power Options: Connects easily to a Celestron Computerized mount for power or uses a USB connection when connected directly to a computer.

Advanced Motor Controls: Includes multiple speed rates and focuser backlash compensation to ensure smooth and accurate adjustments.

Automated Positioning: Features automatic GoTo indexed focuser positions to help manage your telescope settings efficiently.

Ideal for Astrophotography: Allows imagers to focus remotely, removing the need to be physically near the telescope during imaging sessions.
