Description
The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM is a professional-grade standard zoom lens designed for photographers who demand versatility and optical excellence. Building on the proven EF 28-70mm f/2.8L USM platform, this lens expands the focal range to include a wider wide-angle setting, making it ideal for digital camera users with sensors smaller than 35mm film frames. The optical design incorporates Ultra-low Dispersion glass and Fluorite elements to deliver exceptional image quality across the entire zoom range. An inner focusing ring enables smooth autofocus operation whilst full-time manual focus allows instant manual override without switching modes. The aspherical lens elements reduce optical aberrations for sharper, more accurate images. EF mount compatibility makes this lens suitable for Canon EOS SLR cameras. Supplied with essential accessories including lens cap E77U, rear lens cap, lens hood EW-83F, and soft lens case 1219, this zoom lens is ready for professional assignment work.

Key Features

The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM features EF mount compatibility with Canon EOS SLR cameras for seamless integration into existing systems.

Ultra-low Dispersion glass and Fluorite elements in the optical design minimise chromatic aberration and deliver superior colour correction throughout the zoom range.

Inner focusing ring technology enables fast and silent autofocus whilst full-time manual focus allows instant manual control without mode switching.

Aspherical lens elements reduce optical distortion and spherical aberration, ensuring consistently sharp, edge-to-edge image quality.

Standard zoom lens covers 24-70mm focal length range, providing versatile framing options from wide-angle to short telephoto perspectives.

Complete accessory kit includes lens cap E77U, rear lens cap, lens hood EW-83F, and soft lens case 1219 for protection and portability.
