Description
The VILTROX AF 25mm F1.7 is a lightweight autofocus prime lens designed for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras, delivering a 38mm full-frame equivalent focal length ideal for everyday photography and video. Weighing just 170g, this compact lens combines portability with impressive optical performance through its 10-group, 12-element construction featuring ED and aspherical elements for sharp, detailed images. The F1.7 maximum aperture with 9-blade design produces creamy bokeh separation, whilst the STM stepping motor provides silent, rapid autofocus with integrated eye and face detection for modern shooting demands. The 0.3m minimum focus distance enables close subject rendering, and the nano multi-layer coating along with water-repellent front element treatment protect against environmental challenges. A 52mm filter thread accepts standard accessories, and the USB-C firmware update port ensures the lens stays current with future enhancements.

Key Features

STM stepping motor autofocus with eye and face detection enables accurate, fast focusing suitable for both novices and experienced photographers.

Ultra-lightweight 170g construction using special materials makes the AF 25mm F1.7 easy to carry in camera bags or pockets during travel.

F1.7 maximum aperture with 9-blade design delivers smooth bokeh separation and excellent low-light performance for creative depth-of-field control.

10-group, 12-element optical design incorporating 1 ED, 2 high-refractive, and 2 aspherical elements ensures sharp, distortion-free image quality.

Nano multi-layer coating and water-repellent front element coating provide durability and protection against dust, moisture, and reflections.

0.3m minimum focus distance with 0.11x magnification allows close focusing for detailed subject work and macro-style compositions.
