Description

Experience the raw sound of Bowery Electric with this special double LP vinyl release. Originally released in late summer 1995 by Kranky, this debut album captures the core duo of Lawrence Chandler and Martha Schwendener in their most unfiltered form. This version marks a significant update for collectors and fans of the New York City group. This double LP edition provides a superior listening experience by restoring the track "Deep Sky Objects" to its original running order. On the original single LP release, this track was omitted due to side length constraints, but this expanded format ensures the complete artistic vision is preserved. This release represents a rare opportunity to own this influential album on vinyl, as it has not been available in this format for nearly two decades.

Key Features

Double LP format allows for the inclusion of the track "Deep Sky Objects" which was missing from the original single LP release.

Restores the original intended running order of the album for a more authentic listening experience.

Features the debut recordings from the New York City duo Lawrence Chandler and Martha Schwendener.

Released by Kranky Records, the label that helped bring the band to wider attention following their Drop EP.

Captures the band in their most raw and early musical form from the mid-1990s era.
