Description

Jim Root collaborated with Dunlop's String Lab to develop a custom gauge set engineered for downtuned, high-intensity playing. The 11/56 gauges deliver the tuning stability and tonal clarity essential for drop B tuning and aggressive blast-beat driven styles. Each gauge and core size was meticulously handpicked by Jim Root himself to balance feel, response, and sustained high-end clarity through extended playing sessions. These USA-made strings maintain consistency across packs and perform reliably under the demands of distorted, downtuned rhythms. Whether you're tackling complex melodies in lower registers or delivering punishing grooves, the JRN1156DB set keeps your tone articulate and your tuning locked.

Key Features

Jim Root personally handpicked each gauge in the Dunlop String Lab for optimal feel and response under intense playing conditions.

Made in the USA with consistent quality across all JRN1156DB packs for reliable performance.
