Description
The Abu Garcia Carabus AG SX 1000 is a specialized spinning reel designed for ultra-light (UL) fishing enthusiasts. Built for precision in area games, this reel is an ideal companion for targeting trout, perch, and other mini species. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to handle during long sessions, ensuring you stay comfortable while fishing. Engineered for versatility, the Carabus features a super flat aluminium spool that allows you to use ultra-fine braids and monofilament lines without compromising your casting distance with light baits. The low gear ratios provide the slow retrieval speeds necessary for fishing in difficult conditions. For anglers who switch between line types, the included matching aluminum replacement coils make transitioning from braid to mono seamless. Whether you are using it as part of an allround fishing setup or a dedicated UL kit, this grey and gold reel provides the technical performance required for finesse fishing.

Key Features

Ultra-lightweight design weighing only 200g makes this reel perfect for long days of finesse fishing without fatigue.

Super flat aluminium spool supports the use of ultra-fine braids and monofilament lines for improved casting with light baits.

Low gear ratios allow for the slow retrieval speeds needed to manage difficult fishing conditions effectively.

Includes matching aluminum replacement coils so you can easily switch between braid and mono line setups.

Equipped with 3 + 1 ball bearings to ensure smooth operation during your area game and trout sessions.

Compact and lightweight build makes it a great match for the Carabus rod range and UL fishing setups.
