Abu Garcia Carabus AG SX 2000 Spinning Reel - Grey/Gold

The Abu Garcia Carabus AG SX 2000 is a specialized spinning reel designed for anglers focusing on ultra-light fishing. Whether you are targeting trout, perch, or other mini species, this reel provides the precision needed for area games and allround fishing. Its lightweight and compact build makes it an easy addition to your fishing setup, weighing only 200g to prevent fatigue during long sessions. Engineered for performance, the reel features an ultra-flat aluminium spool. This design is essential for using ultra-fine braids and monofilament lines, as it helps prevent line obstruction and ensures smooth casting of light baits. With a 5.1:1 gear ratio and 3+1 ball bearings, you get consistent control even in difficult conditions. The inclusion of a matching aluminium replacement spool allows you to quickly switch between braid and mono, giving you the versatility to adapt to changing fishing environments.
