The Hornby RailRoad GBRf Class 66 '66775 HMS Argyll' is a meticulously crafted 1:76 scale 00 Gauge model diesel locomotive, faithfully replicating one of GB Railfreight's most distinctive engines. Built in Muncie, Indiana, the real locomotive No. 66775 was named in 2017 after HMS Argyll, the longest-serving Type 23 frigate in the Royal Navy. The model proudly displays the pennant number F231 on its bodyside, along with the Royal Navy White Ensign and crest on the cab sides. Finished in the striking GBRf blue and yellow livery, the attention to detail is exceptional. Measuring 28 cm in length, 5 cm in height, and 3.5 cm in width, this model features a 21-pin DCC Ready socket, making it straightforward to upgrade with a compatible sound decoder, including the Hornby HM7000-21TXS Bluetooth and DCC Sound Decoder. It comes fitted with NEM Tension Lock couplings and plastic buffers, with a minimum curve radius of 2. Suitable for adult collectors aged 14 and over.
