Introducing the Hornby RailRoad Class 37 'Pegasus' 37422 in the striking orange and blue livery of Swietelsky Rail Services. This highly detailed OO gauge model locomotive, built to 1:76 scale, measures 25.5 cm in length and faithfully recreates the real locomotive originally built at Vulcan Foundry in February 1965. From its early days at Tinsley, Sheffield, through operators including EWS, DB Schenker, and DRS, to its current role within the Swietelsky fleet at Barrow Hill, this model captures a fascinating chapter of British railway history. Fitted with NEM tension lock couplings and a 21-pin DCC Ready socket, upgrading to digital control is effortless — compatible with the Hornby HM7000-21TXS Bluetooth and DCC Sound Decoder. The model features a minimum curve radius of 1 and is constructed from durable plastic. Suitable for adult collectors and railway enthusiasts aged 36 months and over. A superb addition to any layout or collection. Safety Warning A detailed die-cast scale model for adult collector. Not suitable for children under 14 years.

RICH HISTORY: Based on the real Class 37 originally built at Vulcan Foundry in 1965 as D6966, later renumbered 37422 after reclassification to 37/4 in January 1986.

DCC READY: Fitted with a 21-pin socket for effortless DCC conversion, and is compatible with the Hornby HM7000-21TXS Bluetooth and DCC Sound Decoder.
