When Obedience Has No Reward: Victory Begins at the Feet of Jesus

When obedience brings no applause… When prayers seem unanswered… When faith costs more than it gives… Will you still follow Jesus? When Obedience Has No Reward is not a story of perfect people or instant miracles. It is the story of ordinary families… walking through rejection, sickness, poverty, loneliness, spiritual battles, and silent seasons — yet choosing to trust Jesus anyway. Through deeply personal testimonies and real-life journeys, Jonathan shares the lives of mothers, fathers, children, and spiritual mentors who discovered a hidden truth: God often does His greatest work in secret. Not on stages. Not in crowds. But in homes… in tears… in quiet obedience. You will meet: • Christy – a praying mother who raises children as warriors of faith • Catherine – a child who shines like light in darkness • Jenna – a heart of mercy for the broken • Families rescued from addiction, fear, and bondage • Ordinary believers becoming lamps in God’s hands These are not dramatic heroes. They are people like you. And that is exactly why their stories matter. This book gently reminds us: Sometimes obedience has no earthly reward… but heaven is watching. Sometimes prayers seem delayed… but angels are moving. Sometimes the fire burns… but Jesus is carrying you through it. If you feel forgotten, rejected, or tired of waiting… this book will strengthen your heart and help you see what God is doing behind the scenes. Because faith is not proven when life is easy. Faith is proven when we obey… even when nothing changes. And that is when miracles are born.
