Ad esempio è un ottimo ausilio per chi è diplomato, o laureato, in informatica o elettronica, che pur essendo essenziali nelle automazioni hanno un buco nella preparazione in tema di macchine elettriche, o dimensionamento degli impianti. Ottimale per chi ha studi specifici nelle automazioni ma non ha affrontato appieno il tema dell’interfacciamento dei PLC con azionamenti. Ne beneficiano i meccanici, che pur avendo una grande chiarezza progettuale e d’insieme nelle cinematiche non hanno mai incontrato nel percorso di studio gli azionamenti e le macchine rotanti. Nel libro si affrontano, con estrema completezza teorica e pratica le macchine asincrone trifase, le macchine in continua, i motori stepper e i brushless. Sono presenti, ed ampiamente descritti, sia in teoria che in pratica, gli azionamenti più comuni nella progettazione di macchine e impianti nell’anno 2026, citandoli, i servodrive V90, S110, A6 Stepper online (per i motori brushless pilotati con motion control), Per i motori trifase, gli inverter G120, G120X con funzioni smart, Altivar 11, CFW500 della Weg, il Mitsubishi FR-E800, SEW, ABB, Danfoss, e altri, accompagnati dalla teoria e dalla pratica del controllo V/f e il controllo Vettoriale. Per i motori stepper sono presentate le tecniche PTO tramite servodrive M542T, con motion control, e anche delle semplici interfacce sviluppate con doppio ponte H da G-Tronic. Un capitolo intero è dedicato alle applicazioni delle pompe, dia rotative che dosatrici con un importante esempio per Siemens TIA PORTAL V21.
