Description

A text covering the theory of operation and application of a wide variety of electrical machines. This text is intended for use by community college and university-level engineering technology programs. Reader should have a thorough understanding of fundamental ac and dc circuits, electronic devices (including thyristors), and a knowledge of college algebra and trigonometry, complex algebra, and phasor mathematics. Although a knowledge of calculus will enhance understanding of the material, it is not required.
