Seattle Rain: Part II (The Altered Earth: The Rainline Series)

The Weatherman’s game has already taken lives—precise, calculated, merciless. But in Part II, his riddles grow darker, his countdowns shorter, and his timeline even more impossible. What began as a string of murders now reveals itself as only the first phase of a far more devastating design. Detective Madelyn Rain thought she understood the stakes—but the deeper she goes, the more the case twists into something far more personal. Every clue feels engineered to pull her further into the Weatherman’s storm, every revelation tightening the noose around Seattle. The FBI’s involvement forces Madelyn to work closely with Agent Tom Summer, whose steady focus masks a past that refuses to stay buried. At the same time, her connection with Dr. Kai Storm intensifies, pulling her into a dangerous emotional crossroads where trust is both a weapon and a weakness. The fragile triangle between them threatens to crack as the Weatherman pushes them toward their limits. With storms battering the city and the body count rising, Madelyn and her team uncover the truth: the killings were never the endgame. The Weatherman is engineering a catastrophic event—one so carefully disguised as nature that Seattle will never see it coming. Now, with the clock collapsing and loyalties tested, Madelyn must confront the storm on every front—natural, man-made, and deeply personal. The city's fate, the investigation, and her own heart collide in a final, breathtaking race against time. Part II of Seattle Rain is the explosive conclusion to this psychological thriller—a story of obsession, manipulation, and the razor-thin line between order and chaos. Here, every riddle costs something, and every storm reveals a face. If you love fast-paced, gripping thrillers and mysteries set in richly realized urban landscapes, you’ll enjoy Seattle Rain. Fans of James Patterson (Along Came a Spider, 1st to Die, Kiss the Girls) and Michael Connelly (The Lincoln Lawyer, The Black Echo, The Reversal) will feel right at home in this rain-soaked, suspenseful story.
