MCIO 8i (Mini CoolEdge IO) to 2 Slot M.2 Gen5 NVMe SSD Adapter Adds M.2 SSDs from an available MCIO port on the motherboard. The module uses Gen5 compliant connectors as well as very low loss PCBs.
Compatibility: The plate has 2 M.2 connectors (75 pin M key, PCIe x4) for M2 SSD format 2230/2242/2260/2280 or 22110. Each SSD is connected to a PCIe Gen 5.0 x4 host interface (an allowed throughput of 16GB per M2 port). To be used connected to a motherboard whose BIOS will have to support PCIe bifurcation mode.
Support 2 NVMe M.2 PCIe 5.0 SSD Compatible with multiple SSD formats: 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, 22110. Features a 4-pin power connector, accepting 12V or 5V input. Requires a motherboard or expansion card with MCIO (x8) port that supports PCIe bifurcation.
MCIO-8i 74 pin connector. Operating temperature: 5 to 50 °C.
