Clarendelle Bordeaux White Wine 75cl – Inspired by HautBrion Vin Blanc Bordeaux Vintage 2021 – Exotic fruits & citrus with a velvet mouth Subtle complexity Clarendelle Bordeaux Blanc is inspired by the subtle and harmonious structure of white wines from Domaine Clarence Dillon. This Bordeaux wine is a skilful blend of two traditional Bordeaux grape varieties, Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, to which is added a note of Muscadelle. Vintage 2021 2021 is a vintage marked by the vagaries of nature. Spring cold spells set the tone, followed by sustained rainfall. The warming in the last part of the season then allowed a good ripening of the grapes. This generally "cool" summer gave the grapes a good acidity making the wines pleasant, fruity and aromatic. Tasting The color is intense yellow, sparkling. The complex nose reveals the extent of the aromatic palette of Sauvignon ranging from boxwood to exotic fruits and citrus. The muscadelles bring a touch of rose and lychee to the blend. The mouth is greedy and round, with nevertheless a beautiful minerality. The whole is very fruity. The wine evolves towards a feeling of fat and velvety. The length in the mouth reflects all the complexity of the wine. Tasting suggestions: Ideal temperature between 10° and 12.5°C; this wine can be served as soon as it is opened without decanting. Clarendelle wines are all previously aged in the cellar before being put on sale, in order to offer more complexity, accessibility and elegance.
