The GripGrab FastStream Aero Shoe Covers are engineered for high-speed road cycling, where marginal aerodynamic gains matter. By smoothing airflow around the cycling shoes in a highly turbulent area, they deliver measurable aerodynamic savings of up to 10 watts at 45 km/h in controlled testing. The shoe covers are constructed from a stretch fabric with a smooth, PU-coated exterior. Fully sealed seams and a continuous outer surface help maintain clean, uninterrupted airflow across the shoe. An integrated tread pad under the toe improves durability and wear resistance when walking. The low-cut construction extends slightly above the ankle and is designed to integrate cleanly with aero socks. A tight slip-on fit is combined with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap with cut-to-length capability, allowing the fit to be secured while minimising excess material. The shoe covers form part of the FastStream aero concept, focused on reducing aerodynamic disruption around the shoe and lower leg. The shoe covers are compatible with road cycling shoes only and are designed to work with both lace and dial-based closure systems.
