Product Description
Frank Zappa's epic 1975 release 'One Size Fits All' celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a jam-packed multi-disc box set with 75% unreleased material. Official Zappa release #131 contains four CDs that feature the 2012 main album remaster by legend Bob Ludwig along with a disc and a half of studio outtakes, work mixes and relevant Vault nuggets. A complete live show from Rotterdam, Netherlands '74 is also included with bonus live tracks from the same legendary European tour. The live line-up consisted of the classic 6-piece band featuring George Duke and Ruth Underwood. Ruth also contributed new liner notes for the package along with historical essays by David Fricke and 'Vaultmeister' Joe Travers. The 50th anniversary booklet also contains newly revealed photos by Sam Emerson accompanying the bespoke liner notes. The Blu-Ray disc features brand new Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes directly from the 24-track album master tapes, Hi-Res versions of the main album, and two bonus vault surround tracks featuring vintage mixes by Zappa himself. Also included are two bonus videos, taken from the classic KCET-TV shoot, re-edited for the first time since FZ had his hands on the footage back in 1974. Tenth studio album 'One Size Fits All' by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, released in June 1975. This is the last studio album by the band and features one of Zappa's most complex tracks, 'Inca Roads'. One of Zappa's heroes, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, guests on two tracks: 'San Ber'dino' and 'Andy'.
