SIDDUR BENAYYAHOU BEN YEHOYADA: NUSAKH AFRIKI

There is no Torah life worthy of the name without a precise arrangement of prayer times. It is written in Pirkei Avot 2:13: "Rabbi Shimon said: Be attentive to the recitation of the Shema and the prayer. And when you pray, do not make it an automatic act. Make it a call for compassion before God...". The Ari HaKadosh and Rabbi Hayim Vital will explain in Shaar Maamarei RaZal that it is a matter of understanding how each prayer is unique and unlike any other. Our Masters, by explaining how Tefillah, in its entire structure, operates the Tikkun of the Seven Kings, have given us precious tools to construct different kavanot essential for this reparation. As HaKhamim, Tzadikim, and Rabbanim of the Chief Rabbinate of Africa; but also Poskim of the Minhag and Nousakh Afriki, we had to contribute our stone to the edifice. To construct kavanot in relation to our culture, our identity, and in phase with the spiritual forces rooted in this Minhag which is ours. The references are countless when it comes to associating our Lands, our skin color, the intensity of our spirituality with the Hoshekh (darkness), thus directly with the roots of Rah (Evil). Our objective In this Siddur of Kavanot HaOtiot that we propose, it is to embody what is written in the Massekhet Avoda Zarah 49B, which speaks of the idol Dagon nullifying itself. Indeed, it prostrates itself before the Ark of HaShem, illegally held by the Philistines in a temple in Ashdod. See 1 Shmuel 5:1-5. To treat evil at its root, so that idol worship naturally ceases. Indeed, what idol can one serve when all idols unequivocally prostrate themselves before the EIN SOF BARUKH HOU? To do this, as the Zohar HaKadosh states, the Tzaddik must become Yom, in order to access the Olam of the 'Hoshekh', which is above the worlds of Tohu and Bohu. A world of Hoshekh where unity reigns, the residence of the forces (Kohot) of letters before they are clothed in their known forms here below. A world of Chosekh in which the Supreme Creator drapes and conceals His presence, as revealed by Rabbi Nekhunia Ben HaKane in the Sefer Habahir. The skillful use of Kohot, Otiot, Ziyunim, and Aramaic will help achieve His goals. This Siddur is strictly reserved for initiates, heirs of Botzina Kadisha, and guardians of the Afriki Nousakh, with the permission of Rabbi Pinhas Eliyahu Shaday.
