A Very Solid Carbon Tripod The very solid carbon tripod SC-324C is made from 10 layers of cross-woven and reinforced carbon fiber, ensuring you have an extremely stable travel tripod. This tripod can support up to 15 kg and weighs only 1.93 kg. The maximum working height is 139 cm without the center column. With the center column, the maximum height reaches 170.5 cm. The minimum working height is 17 cm, ideal for macro work close to the ground. The SC-324C from Leofoto folds down to just 57 cm with the LH-40 ball head, making it easy to pack in a suitcase or backpack. It is also very compact with a folded diameter of 96.5 mm, comparable to a Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens. Tripod with Removable Center Column The relatively low weight of this tripod is achieved thanks to its modular construction with a removable center column. The base tripod with 3 legs has a tripod plate made from aerospace-grade aluminum with a 3/8-inch screw. You can attach the ball head directly if you wish to travel light, but if you need more working height, you must first attach the center column.
