The tripod has a built-in "half bowl" where you place the supplied leveling base. The handle of the leveling base is 38mm long and the base plate has a 3/8-inch tripod screw. On this you can directly mount the included BV-15 video head, or any other tripod head with ⅜-inch tripod screwhole. The ball of the leveling base has the ability to tilt 20 degrees in all directions, allowing you to position the tripod head exactly horizontally without having to adjust the tripod legs in length.
